Training for trainers on didactics of higher education aimed at improvement of content, forms and methods of training public employees


The didactic course was held from 19 to 23 November in Kyiv. It covered such issues as the results of the most up-to-date research in the sphere of adult education psychology, the principles of inspiring education, motivation aspects, communication tools, convincing through professional and authentic public speaking, successful presentation skills, new workable training methods and technologies, targeted and effective organisation of academic activities, assessment and quality control. Dr. Gerald Wibbecke from the Academy of Advanced Training under Pedagogical Institute (Heidelberg, Germany) was invited to deliver this unique training course for the Ukrainian participants.

The training participants were the employees of Centres for Administrative Services from different regions of Ukraine, Centres for Professional Advancement of Public Employees, the State Agency for E-Governance of Ukraine, the Association of Amalgamated Territorial Communities of Ukraine. All the training participants are practitioners and experts in the spheres of local self-government, administrative service delivery, legal issues, inter-municipal cooperation, information technologies and e-governance. In the future, they will be able to deliver training workshops on the above topics at a totally new level.

The training has been organised by Administrative Reform in Eastern Ukraine II Project implemented by GIZ on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
