Results of the first selection round of amalgamated communities on the establishment of the Centres for Administrative Services

Dear participants engaged in the call for proposals,

The Reform of Municipal Services in Eastern Ukraine Project is pleased to inform you of the results of the first selection round for the amalgamated communities on the establishment of the Centres for Administrative Services (CAS).

The Selection Committee has registered 103 applications, six of which were submitted by the communities without the status of amalgamated territorial community. The received applications have been assessed according to 15 criteria listed below in three groups:

  • a clear vision of the CAS future
  • appropriate option of CAS premises
  • the quality of the application

Following the examination of applications, the Selection Committee included 28 amalgamated territorial communities in the long list instead of 20 initially planned.

Therefore, the Reform of Municipal Services in Eastern Ukraine Project will provide support for increased number of communities to improve their applications on CAS establishment. The first consultation session will start on 12 January 2016 in Kyiv.

  • Kalynivka Municipal Amalgamated Territorial Community
  • Kipti Amalgamated Territorial Community
  • Kochubeyivka Rural Amalgamated Territorial Community
  • Krasnyi Lyman Municipal Amalgamated Territorial Community
  • Lyashkivka Amalgamated Territorial Community
  • Mala Vyska Municipal Amalgamated Territorial Community

The amalgamated communities not included into the long list will also obtain advisory, expert, methodological and other relevant support on the improvement of applications, CAS establishment and workflow management. The follow-up information about the areas for further cooperation will be provided soon.

We wish all the participants the best for New Year and Christmas! Hopefully, all the newly amalgamated communities will execute their plans in 2016 and establish own Centres for Administrative Services! The first step is done!
