Centres for Administrative Services is expanding the range of services for visitors

With the support of the project “Administrative Reform in Eastern Ukraine II” implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) the working meeting of All-Ukrainian Association of Centres for Administrative Services took place in Kyiv on 19-20 March.

The participants of the meeting were the Member of Parliament Oleksandr Dekhtiarchuk, Head of the Main Service Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Vladyslav Kryklii, Deputy Director of Department of the Ministry of Justice Anatolii Leshchenko, representative of the Ministry of Social Policy Vitalii Muzychenko and the Chairperson of the State Migration Service of Ukraine Maksym Sokoliuk. The representatives of many Ukrainian cities and amalgamated hromadas also took part in the meeting including Vinnytsia, Lutsk, Kamyanske, Lyman amalgamated hromada, Mariupol, Zhytomyr, Uzhgorod, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Lysychansk, Lviv, Yuzhnoukrainsk, Odesa, Kremenchuk, Pyriatyn, Rivne, Sumy, Kranopillia, Okhtyrka, Romny, Nedryhailiv, Kharkiv, Pervomaisk and Kupiansk.

The meeting aimed to discuss and solve the challenging issues of practical implementation of the regulation of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 782-p of 11.10.2017 on the expansion of the range of services provided via Centres for Administrative services.

The special attention was paid to such administrative services as the state registration (reregistration, deregistration) of motor vehicles, the issue (renewal) of driving licence, state civil status registration, social services provision as well as the issue of national and international passports for Ukrainian citizens.

Alongside this, the activities and main achievements of All-Ukrainian Association of Centres for Administrative Services were highlighted at the meeting. Inter alia, during the past year the experts of the Association have conducted the following activities in Ukraine:

  • 104 trainings for over 1000 CAS employees in 22 Oblasts of Ukraine;
  • 9 regional forums on the development of administrative service delivery system;
  • information sessions in 22 Oblasts of Ukraine for ca. 1000 participants from the amalgamated hromadas, villages, settlements, towns, cities, Rayon State Administrations etc.
