Inter-Municipal Cooperation

Within the framework of the call for inter-municipal cooperation (IMC) proposals launched as a joint initiative of the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Municipal Economy of Ukraine, Poltava Oblast Council, Poltava Oblast State Administration and the Reform of Municipal Services in Eastern Ukraine Project, five shortlisted IMC projects have been successfully implemented in Poltava Oblast:

  • Project ‘Acquisition of Waste Vehicle and Containers for Improvement of Material and Technical Resources of Communities. Joint Step towards Clean Environment of Pyryatyn Region’ – joint initiative of Pyryatyn City Council and Bilotserkivtsi, Deymanivka, Kaplyntsi, Oleksandrivka, Sasynivka, and Kharkivtsi Village Councils;
  • Project ‘Waste Revolution in the Communities of Chervonozavodske Town and Tokari and Pisky Villages as an Example of Successful Cooperation of Territorial Communities’;
  • Project ‘Clean Village is ‘Beautiful Village’. Equipping of Solid Waste Collection Points and Purchasing of Waste Containers for Three Communities of Poltava Rayon’ – joint initiative of Kovalivka, Novoselivka and Kulykovo Village Councils;
  • Project ‘Inter-Municipal Cooperation: Targeted Social Protection of Community Residents. Reconstruction and Equipping of Reshetylivka Labour Archive as a Way to Improve Customer Servicing and Energy Efficiency’ – joint initiative of Zhovtneve, Malyi Bakai and Ploske Village Councils;
  • Project ‘Rehabilitation of Local Fire Protection Service is a Guarantee of Personal and Social Safety in Village Communities’ – joint initiative of Goroshyne, Pogrebnyaky, Khudoliyivka, Stepanivka, Obolon, Narizhzhya and Ivanivka Village Councils.
